Man Arrested for Kidnapping

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls man is accused of kidnapping a woman Wednesday night, among other charges. Authorities responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on the 800 block of Royal Avenue, where they learned that 29-year-old Renato Trejo allegedly forced a woman into his truck before driving away. Witnesses say the woman was able to escape and make it to safety. Officers later arrested Trejo on the 3300 block of South Holmes. Trejo remains in the Bonneville County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
