Broncos’ Von Miller Suspended Six Games
Published at(NEW YORK) — Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller will be suspended at least six games for violation of the league’s substance abuse policy, according to ESPN NFL insiders Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen.
Miller will most likely not appeal and take the suspension once it is officially handed down, according to Schefter.
“It’s going to get resolved, one way or another. We certainly know what we want, but we are prepared for any possible scenario,” Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said last week about the looming possiblity Miller could be suspended.
“That’s how you have to be. If you get all wrapped up in, ‘Oh, it has to be this outcome,’ and then it’s not, now you’re deflated, and you don’t really have a plan B. Today was a good practice on the possibility that he might not be here. If that’s the case, that is not going to be an excuse for our team. We have to find a way to do our jobs. We certainly hope that he’s here,” Manning continued.
