Insurer Drops Out of Idaho Health Exchange
Published at | Updated at(BOISE, ID) – The only for-profit insurance company on Idaho’s fledgling health insurance exchange has decided to drop out of the program all together. Altius Health Plans was supposed to offer 15 insurance policies on Idaho’s exchange, making up nearly 10 percent of all the plans available. Company officials say they decided to not to continue in the exchange in order to remain competitive and still offer reasonable rates for customers.
