(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – It’s not uncommon to tell loved ones to not “let the bed bugs bite” when they go to sleep at night, but for some local families, bed bugs are still a real problem. Officials with Colling Pest Control say that they receive about ten calls a week just for bed bugs, compared to only one call a year when they started 18 years ago. Still, state health authorities aren’t convinced that it’s a serious public health threat yet. Experts say the most common areas to come into contact with bed bugs are day cares, motels, and from second-hand furniture.
