Idahoans Paying Among Highest in U.S. for Gas
Published at | Updated at( BOISE, ID ) – When it comes to paying for gas, Idahoans are among the highest in the nation. Experts say that Idaho has the highest pre-tax gas prices of the lower 48 states, and have exceeded the national average by a wide margin since May. Idaho is the only western state without an oil field or a refinery. They say many fuel retailers are simply adjusting their prices to match their competitors in an effort to remain profitable. Statewide, prices in Idaho Falls are among the lowest at around $3.20, while prices are highest in Meridian at $3.81.
