LDS Church Revamping Meetings for Women
Published at | Updated at(SALT LAKE CITY, UT) – The LDS Church is restructuring its meetings for women and girls during the faith’s semiannual General Conference. From now on, women aged 8 and up will attend twice-yearly sessions conducted by the leaders of organizations comprising the church’s Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary general presidencies. The church had previously separated its women’s sessions based on age, which were limited to once a year. The meetings are broadcast in more than 40 languages to Mormon congregations worldwide.
