(BLACKFOOT, ID) – Six people were hospitalized last week after a wheel came off a semi-trailer in front of them and struck their vehicle.  Forty-one-year-old Rosalie Evans of Lewisville was headed northbound along I-15 near Blackfoot late Thursday night when the wheel struck her SUV, causing her to veer off the roadway and lose control. Evans and her five passengers were taken to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the semi was stopped near Idaho Falls, and was not aware that he’d lost a wheel. Evans has been discharged from the hospital, though the conditions of the five other passengers have not been released.
