Obama, First Lady Welcome Tourists Back to the White House

The White House(WASHINGTON) — Tuesday marked the first day that White House tours re-opened, and tourists got a welcoming surprise.
President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, joined by dogs Sunny and Bo, personally welcomed visitors to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, shaking hands and saying hello to shocked tourists in the Blue Room.
“We just re-opened tours at the White House & I’m about to greet folks right now. Tune in…this is going to be fun! –mo,” Michelle Obama personally tweeted earlier Tuesday morning.
The White House is reopening its doors seven months after the public tours were cancelled because of sequester spending cuts.
