(PRESTON, ID) – The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has issued pollution warning for Franklin County. Residents in Preston, Weston, and Franklin are urged to limit any strenuous activities outdoors due to high levels of toxins in the air. Experts say people with asthma will likely see an increase in symptoms over the next week. The poor air quality is being partly blamed on a temperature inversion.
