Car Crashes into Parole Office, Five Injured

(POCATELLO, ID) – Five people were injured Sunday night when a car crashed into the state Probation and Parole office on Yellowstone in Pocatello.   Police say a man drove a Chevy Cavalier though a brick wall, where several people had been holding a drug and alcohol rehabilitation meeting. Three people were taken by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center, including the driver, while another two were taken by private cars. One person was trapped under the vehicle and had to be extricated. Status reports on those hospitalized have not been released.
