(CHUBBUCK, ID) – U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo is coming back home this week. Crapo will speak at a business luncheon at the Mystique Theater in Chubbuck on Friday at noon, followed by a visit to Chief Taghee Elementary Academy in Fort Hall at 1:30. Crapo will also meet with officials from the timber industry, as well as conservation groups to discuss collaborative efforts to restore forests in central Idaho’s Clearwater Basin. Crapo has bipartisan support on a bill to protect forest restoration projects by moving fire funding to existing federal disaster accounts.
