(ARCO, ID)  —  The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the cities of Driggs, Dubois, Island Park, St. Anthony, Downey, Lava Hot Springs, Soda Springs, Wayan, Preston, Dayton, Montpelier, Georgetown and Paris.   The combination of warmer temperatures and additional rainfall on top of existing snowpack may possibly create excessive runoff.  The flooding of fields, small streams and area roads are certainly possible.  Those who live in low-lying areas where there is prone to flooding should be prepared to take action in the event of a flood.  The Watch remains in effect through Sunday afternoon.
