Teenager Hit by Car

(BLACKFOOT, ID) – An 18-year-old Blackfoot High School student is recovering after being hit by a car last Friday.  Cheyenne Pendlebury was walking in the crosswalk at about 7 a.m. between the LDS Seminary building and the high school when she was struck. 48-year-old Sean Bystrom was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian and driving without insurance. Pendlebury was taken by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center for treatment, but has since been discharged.
