Stocks End the Week with More Losses
Published at | Updated at(NEW YORK) — After swinging between modest gains and losses Friday, stocks ended the week in negative territory.
All three major U.S. indices posted their biggest weekly drops in seven weeks. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 43 points to 16,065.67, while the Nasdaq lost 15 points to close at 4,245.40, and the S&P 500 fell 5 points to 1,841.13.
Investors are still keeping close watch on tensions in Ukraine.
Sixteen big banks are being sued by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for allegedly conspiring to keep a key global interest rate low to enrich themselves.
