ADP Report: 241,000 Jobs Added in December

AndreyPopov/iStock/Thinkstock(ROSELAND, N.J.) — Private employers in the U.S. added more than 200,000 new jobs in December for the fourth straight month, the latest survey from ADP shows.
According to the payroll processor, 241,000 jobs were added last month — up from 227,000 in November.
Construction and manufacturing sectors were strong, with 23,000 and 26,000 jobs added, respectively.
On Friday, the Labor Department will release its monthly jobs report for December.
