Dates, Ticket Prices Revealed for Mariah Carey’s Las Vegas Residency

Peter Kramer/NBC(NEW YORK) — Mariah Carey has revealed more details about her Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The show, dubbed Mariah Carey #1s, will see the singer performing all 18 of her #1 hits. Mariah Carey #1s will also feature fan-favorite album cuts, never-before-performed numbers, and “musical surprises,” according to Caesars.
In a statement, Carey said, “I have so many ideas for the show that I’m currently working on and am excited to perform all of my #1 singles together for the first time and others that are very close to my heart. My songs are the soundtrack of my life and I can’t wait to share them with my fans on stage!”
To go along with the show, Carey will release a new edition of her album #1s, which will feature those hits and newly-recorded music. Look for that later this year.
“Revisiting these songs for the show, working on the updated compilation and creating new music has really let me reconnect with my songs and I hope my fans will enjoy the experience,” Carey added.
The show will launch May 6, and then run May 9, 10, 13, 16, 17, 20, 23 and 24, and July 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25 and 26.

As previously reported, Carey’s dates at the Colosseum will fill some of those left vacant by Celine Dion, who put her career on hold to care for her ailing husband.
