Harry Reid Returns to Work, Will Miss State of the Union Address
Published at(WASHINGTON) — Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid returned Tuesday to the Capitol Building for the first time since the exercise accident that broke bones in his face.
While Reid returned to the Senate on Tuesday, he will not stay for the State of the Union, an aide told ABC News.
Reid was exercising earlier this year when the piece of equipment he was using broke, causing him to fall and break bones in his face as well as three ribs, and suffer a concussion.
Reid tweeted a photo of himself back in his office on Tuesday, captioned simply, “Back at work.”
