Macklemore and Fiancée Tricia Davis Expecting First Child

Photo by Gaelle Beri/Redferns via Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Ben Haggerty, better known as the rapper Macklemore, announced on his Facebook and Twitter pages on Saturday that he and his fiancee, Tricia Davis, are expecting their first child.
The announcement, in the form of a video, begins with the sound of the child’s heartbeat and the rapper asking “what is that?” The video continues, showing the couple in the sonogram room together.
“Today the media speculated about some big news in our life,” a caption explains. “So we decided to share it with you ourselves.”
The video concludes with the words “May 2015,” hinting at a possible due date.
