One Dead, One Injured in Ohio Highway Overpass Collapse
Published at(CINCINNATI) — An overpass collapsed onto a highway Monday in Cincinnati, killing at least one person, authorities said.
The situation happened along I-75 in Cincinnati’s Camp Washington neighborhood.

The old northbound off-ramp to Hopple Street collapsed, sending several hundred tons of concrete and machinery into the traffic below, reports ABC affiliate WCPO-TV in Cincinnati. A contruction worker was killed in the collapse, and a big-rig driver was hospitalized.
The southbound lanes of I-75 were closed as authorities cleared the debris and wreckage and investigated. Police estimate the southbound lanes of I-75 could be closed for at least 48 hours.
