According to a readout of the call between Presidents Obama and Hollande, the two expressed solidarity and the American president offered the resources of the United States to help France “identify, apprehend, and bring to justice the perpetrators and anyone who helped plan or enable this terrorist attack.”

Hollande thanked Obama for his support. He also said that France would not waver in the wake of such adversity.

Queen Elizabeth, on behalf of herself and Prince Philip, also offered “sincere condolences to the families of those who have been killed and to those who have been injured in the attack in Paris.”

The U.S. Embassy in Paris said Wednesday that there were “no plans to close or limit access” to the embassy or other diplomatic facilities in France.
