Parks’ co-star Cynthia Bailey tells ABC News Radio that Apollo’s still in contact with her husband, Peter Thomas, from behind bars.

“Peter and Apollo actually are still quite friendly. You know, he calls him and they keep in touch,” Bailey says.

Parks is filing for divorce from Nida. Bailey considers Parks a friend and says the mother of two young sons is holding up.

“I assume she’s doing OK. It’s tough. It’s a tough situation to be in,” she adds. “However, I think she is strong and I think she’ll be OK.”

Fashion Queens co-host Derek J., who knows Parks well, echoed Bailey’s statement. “She’s good. I mean, she’s doing the best she can do in the situation,” he tells ABC News Radio.

Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern time on Bravo, while Fashion Queens airs Sundays at 11:30 p.m. Eastern time.
