Brewer Leads Rockets Past Raptors, 98-76

iStock/Thinkstock(HOUSTON) — Rockets guard Corey Brewer had a season-high 26 points, 10 rebounds and five assists as Houston (37-18) defeated the Toronto Raptors (37-18) on Saturday night, 98-76.
Leading 56-52 with 3:41 to play in the third quarter, Houston went on a 12-1 run to close out the period. Rockets guard James Harden contributed 20 points, with 16 of them coming in the third quarter.
Forward Amir Johnson led the way for the Raptors with 27 points and five rebounds while guard Kyle Lowry had 11 points and four assists.
Up next for the Rockets, a Monday night home showdown against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
