Dating website misstravel.com has completed just such a survey, polling more than 50,000 people about their favorite airports based on building design, customer service and first-class amenities.

Number one on misstravel.com’s list of the “Happiest Airports of 2014” happens to be Portland International Airport — the one in Oregon, not Maine — followed by Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport in Savannah, Georgia, with San Francisco International Airport coming in third.

Some amenities that make the airport experience more pleasant include places to shop, exercise or just relax.

Rounding out the top five of “happiest airports” are Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida and Philadelphia International Airport.
