Is Top Obama Aide Getting ‘Ready for Hillary?’

Pete Souza / The White House(WASHINGTON) — White House Communications Director Jen Palmieri plans to leave the White House next month.
While the White House won’t comment on where she is going, knowledgeable sources say she will be joining the yet-to-be-announced Hillary Clinton presidential campaign as communications director.
Palmieri, who worked for former President Bill Clinton and for the John Edwards campaign in 2008, has a good relationship with White House and political reporters. Her hiring is indication that Clinton may want a less combative relationship with the press than she had last time around.
