NASA Says Saturday Spacewalk Successfully Completed
Published at(NEW YORK) — A pair of astronauts successfully completed a spacewalk on Saturday, installing 340 feet of cable in preparation for the eventual docking of commercial spacecraft to the International Space Station.
Saturday’s work was the 185th spacewalk on the space station. Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Terry Virts took the first steps towards converting a docking port for the next generation of spacecraft. That work will take three spacewalks, NASA says.
