Pepperidge Farm Recalls Bagels Due to Undeclared Allergen
Published at(NEW YORK) — Pepperidge Farm is recalling an unspecified number of bagels distributed to retailers in certain states due to undeclared allergens.
According to the company, the bagels may contain certain allergens — such as peanuts and almonds — that could pose a serious or life-threatening risk to consumers with allergies. The recall covers all varieties of the bagels, including plain, everything, mini, brown sugar cinnamon, whole wheat and cinnamon raisin.

The bakery that made the products reported to Pepperidge Farm that peanuts and almonds had been included in an ingredient in the products shipped to retailers in Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
The sell-by dates on the recalled products are between Feb. 7 and Feb. 12. Customers who purchased a recalled product can return it to the store of purchase for a full refund.
