Report: LeBron James Elected VP of NBA Players Association

Christian Petersen/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — According to Adrian Wojnarowski, LeBron James has been named the first Vice President of the NBA Players Association.
Chris Paul was elected the President of the NBPA back in August, overtaking now Knicks head coach, Derek Fisher. Wojnarowski states that Paul has been pushing LeBron James to join him in the union.
Traditionally, the NBAPA has had role players represent them near the end of their careers, however as of late, the NBAPA is getting the league’s biggest stars in their prime to represent their union.
LeBron James, by far the league’s biggest star will be able to bring his experience on-and-off the court to the Players’ union.
