Curry put up 51 points, converting 10 three-point shots Wednesday night as he helped rally the Warriors from a 22-point deficit early in the first quarter.

“Sometimes Steph plays his best when we’re down big and he just senses that he has to put the Superman cape on,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “And he’s so good at it. He loves the freedom of being down and saying, ‘All right. I’m going to let it fly and bring us back.’ And that’s what he did.”

At one point Curry was so locked in he converted six straight three-point attempts, spanning the second and third quarters.

“Be aggressive, that’s what we do” Curry said. “Shots are going to fall as long as we got defensive stops and kept ourselves in the game, we have enough talent on the team to turn the tides.”

The early season inconsistencies that troubled Curry appear to be in the rear-view mirror.  Curry is averaging 30.2 ppg over the team’s last five games and he averaged 23.5 ppg in the month of January.
