US, Coalition Forces Launch 11 Strikes in Iraq, Syria

Three strikes in Syria were all focused around the border town of Kobani. Forces from the U.S., Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates conducted the strikes, which destroyed an ISIS-controlled building and two vehicles and hit a large tactical unit.

In Iraq, two strikes near Tal Afar hit a tactical unit and destroyed a building and two vehicles. Two more strikes near Mosul hit a tactical unit and destroyed a bulldozer and an excavator. The four additional airstrikes hit targets near Bayji, Sinjar and Hit, destroying two vehicles, a building and three structures. Also damaged in those strikes were four tactical units and a checkpoint.

Forces from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States took part in the strikes within Iraq.
