Kevin Harvick Wins Pole for Phoenix

BananaStock(AVONDALE, Ariz.) — Kevin Harvick took home the pole for Sunday’s Sprint Cup race at Phoenix International Speedway.
This was Harvick’s first career pole at Phoenix. Joey Logano finished with the second fastest qualifying time.
“There are just so many circumstances that you can’t control,” Harvick said. “There are so many things that can go wrong. There are so many mistakes that you can make and we can make some bad decisions as we go through practice and miss the balance to start the race.”
Kurt Busch finished with the eighth fastest time and will race for the first time this season after his suspension was uplifted this week.
“Overwhelming support from the team and garage area,” Busch said. “I’m thankful to be back and have this competitive car.”
