Jobs for College-Educated Workers on the Rise, Report Finds

iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Was that college degree worth it? Yes, according to a new report out Monday.
Despite widely held beliefs that jobs for educated workers have declined, new data from Georgetown University shows that high-skill labor requiring a college degree has risen over the past four decades, Bloomberg News reports.
Moreover, low skill/low wage labor has declined 10 percent over the same time period.
The Georgetown University report comes as welcome news to a generation of college students hampered by more than $1 trillion in cumulative student loan debt, buoyed by stagnant wage growth.
