UPDATE: The Nampa Police Department has cancelled its Amber Alert and reports via Twitter that Joshua Reavis has been taken into custody in Washington State. The two children are safe.
NAMPA – An Amber Alert has been issued for two children kidnapped by their father, according to police.
The children — Esatleyn Reavis, 2, and Slevin Reavis, 3, — are reportedly in a 2000 gold Honda Odyssey van, driven by Joshua Reavis, 31, with a license plate number of 2CLL484, according to police.
Their mother reported the children were last seen Monday.
Police say all of the children’s belongings and camping gear were taken from their home, and Reavis and the children are possibly heading toward Grimes Creek to camp. Police have called in the Child Abuse Response Team.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call CART at 208-465-2206. If you know of the location of the van or children, call 911.
