Ciara to Perform National Anthem at Upcoming MLB All-Star Game

Ben Gabbe/Getty Images(CINCINNATI) — Ciara has been tapped to sing the national anthem at Major League Baseball’s 86th All-Star Game.
According to MLB.com, the singer will perform the “The Star-Spangled Banner” next Tuesday at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
“I’m So Excited To Be Singing The National Anthem At The @mlb @allstargame on July 14th! Watch Me On FOX! #ASG,” Ciara tweeted.
In addition to Ciara, Leo Welsh will perform “O Canada” as part of the pregame ceremony while country artist Josh Turner will sing “God Bless America.”
The All-Star Game will be televised nationally July 14 on Fox at 7 p.m. ET.
