GM has announced a recall of more than 73,000 Chevy Cobalt cars from 2010 because of defective airbags.

Faulty wiring wouldn’t allow the roof-mounted driver’s side airbag to inflate after an accident, according to the automaker. At least one driver had a crash where the airbag did not inflate, said GM.

GM said it would inspect the vehicles being recalled and replace the bad wiring.

The news comes after tens of millions of recalls involving GM’s safety issues just in the past few years, and a month after Fiat Chrysler announced they would recall over 600,000 SUVs because of their own wiring issues.
