Seattle Mariners Pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma Throws No-Hitter

Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images(SEATTLE) — A no-hitter for Seattle Mariners pitcher Hisashi Iwakuma.
Iawkuma threw a no-hitter Wednesday night for a 3-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles at Safeco Field.
He becomes the second Japanese pitcher to throw a no-hitter after Hideo Nomo did in 1996 and 2001.
Iwakuma has become the fourth pitcher this season to throw a no-hitter after Cole Hamels, Max Scherzer, and Chris Heston.
