Idaho Falls police still seeking leads on law office bombing

IDAHO FALLS – Police continue to ask the public for help in finding whomever placed a bomb outside an Idaho Falls law office in July.

Witnesses say they felt the ground shake and heard a loud explosion when the bomb went off at the Swafford and Ward Law Firm on 9th St. on July 31.

Detectives believe someone intentionally set up a homemade bomb at the front door of the law office.

Police are conducting an active investigation, but haven’t named any suspects and say they don’t have any new information to report.

Attorneys are using the building again and want clients to know that no confidentiality was breached.

Investigators ask anyone with information to contact Idaho Falls police at (208) 529-1200.
