IDAHO FALLS – The Madison football team defeated Hillcrest 24-14 to qualify for the state playoffs Friday night.

Madison scored first, but Hillcrest tied the score in the first quarter, but the second and third quarters belonged to the Bobcats as they took a 21-7 lead into the fourth period. In the final stanza, Madison kicked a field goal and with just 2:06 left in the game, Hillcrest scored their second touchdown of the game.
