POCATELLO — A man was arrested Saturday, Oct. 17, after Pocatello police got calls about someone banging on doors and trying to get inside homes around 1155 Garfield.

Sean McKinney, 32, of Pocatello, was able to force his way into one house, but the people who lived there were able to quickly get him out, said police spokeswoman Dianne Brush. It is unclear why McKinney was trying to get into homes.

When police spotted McKinney, he ran away. He was caught shortly after. Police searched McKinney and found two bank cards on his person that did not belong to him. He was arrested on a charge of possession of financial transaction cards without consent.

McKinney was arrested and booked into Bannock County Jail were he is currently still incarcerated. No bond or court date has been set yet.
