IDAHO FALLS– Two people were arrested in an Idaho Falls alley after police got a tip about drug activity on the 1500 block of Alice Avenue.
Michael W. Martindale, 26, of Ashton (left in the photo), was arrested on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver Tuesday, Oct. 20, around 11:40 a.m. Also arrested was Ronald Myers, 50, of Idaho Falls, on a felony Bonneville County probation violation warrant and on a charge of misdemeanor assault and battery on an officer.
Both men had outstanding warrants, police spokeswoman Joelyn Hansen said.
She said officers searched Martindale and found he had methamphetamine, two glass meth pipes, two butane lighters and a scale.
Myers swung his elbows, striking one of the officers, and threatened to punch another, Hansen said.
Both men were booked into the Bonneville County Jail and were being held without bail as of Thursday, Oct. 22.
