Ammon Cabela’s planning 2am Black Friday bash

AMMON – Cabela’s will celebrate Black Friday, Nov. 27, by offering customers extended hours, entertainment and more than $15,000 in giveaways and prizes at the company’s Idaho Falls location.

Shoppers are invited to a pre-opening bash from 2:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m. A projector movie, scones, hot chocolate, and prizes will be part of the party.

Doors will open at 5 a.m. and the first 600 Cabela’s customers over 18 in line will be eligible to receive a mystery envelope containing information about their gift. All gifts will be distributed randomly and could include one of five Winchester bolt-action rifle combos, Cabela’s gift cards and much more. Firearm winners will be required to complete a standard federal background check to take ownership of the firearm.

The festivities at Cabela’s Ammon store will be part of a nationwide celebration in which Cabela’s will give away more than $1 million in Black Friday gifts across the company’s participating U.S. retail locations. Giveaways will vary by location and could include:

- Winchester bolt-action rifle combos
- Zeiss binoculars
- Masterbuilt smokers
- Leupold rangefinders
- Cabela’s Polar Cap coolers
- Cabela’s gift cards

Cabela’s Ammon, ID will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26. The store will then open at 5 a.m. on Black Friday, Nov. 27, and will remain open until 10 p.m.
