Woman killed in accident at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

TETON VILLAGE, Wyoming — A woman was killed during an accident at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Monday.

According to a news release, ski patrol received a call around 3:30 p.m. reporting an accident on Moran Run. The snowboarder was found on Moran, about one hundred yards below Togwotee Pass traverse on the north side of the trail in a treed area.

Officials say crews performed life support efforts before the victim was taken to St. John’s Clinic in Teton Village. She was pronounced dead at 3:56 pm.

“The staff at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort join me in expressing our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of the victim,” Jerry Blann, president of JHMR, said.

Details of the accident and the woman’s name have not been released.
