After the vehicles made contact, police say they rolled, coming to rest in the median. Walker died at the scene. Gago was not transported to the hospital.

Police say Walker was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Friends tell EastIdahoNews.com Walker had recently returned from Mexico after serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was raised in Idaho Falls and had attended Brigham Young University-Idaho.
