Sorry, east Idaho. You can’t get $1 Jimmy John’s subs here today
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — If you were hoping to get a $1 sandwich from Jimmy John’s today, you will have to drive quite a ways.
Today, as part of its first ever Nationwide Customer Appreciation Day, the restaurant chain is offering $1 subs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at over 2200 restaurants across the country.

Jimmy John’s in Twin Falls, Boise, and Meridian are participating, but none of the locations we contacted in east Idaho are taking part.
A worker at a Pocatello Jimmy John’s tells EastIdahoNews.com she isn’t sure why they aren’t offering the discounted sandwiches.
The Rexburg Jimmy John’s has posted a sign on the front door saying they’re not participating in the promotion.
And when we called an Idaho Falls restaurant, an employee confirmed their restaurant is sitting out.
If you are craving a sandwich, Mike Manwill, the owner of all Idaho Falls Subway restaurants, says his workers will give a $1 discount to everyone who mentions the Jimmy John’s promotion.
