Manhunt underway for murder suspect

UPDATE: The man suspected of firing the shots — Demetrius Anthony Gomez — was arrested Wednesday.
FORT HALL — Law enforcement officers across east Idaho are searching for a man they say shot and killed a man tonight on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.
The suspect is Demitrius Gomez, 29, of Fort Hall, according to the Bannock County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives say the victim was shot in the face by a shotgun around 7 p.m. at a residence on B Street near Fort Hall Elementary School.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
Gomez who is considered to be armed and dangerous and police are searching for him.
