Prescription drugs stolen during early morning burglary

AMMON — The Ammon Kmart pharmacy was likely the target of an early morning burglary.

Just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, Bonneville County deputies responded to an alarm at the Ammon Kmart and discovered that someone had broken into the store.

Deputies searched the building, while doing so it was discovered the pharmacy had also been broken into and an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs was missing, according to a news release.

Bonneville County Detectives are asking anyone that may have information or were witness to any suspicious activity in the area of Kmart early Tuesday morning to contact the sheriff’s office at (208) 529-1375 or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers by phone at (208) 522-1983 or online at www.ifcrime.org.
