Idaho Falls man arrested for drugs, grand theft

IDAHO FALLS — Authorities arrested 32-year-old Joshua J. Cook for three felonies following a traffic stop late Saturday night.
The Idaho Falls man was booked in to the Bonneville County Jail for unlawful possession of a firearm, grand theft, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, providing false information to police and two warrants.
According to Idaho Falls Police reports, officers stopped a Chevrolet Avalanche at Emerson and Lomax around 10:43 p.m. During the stop, the passenger, identified as Cook, was found to have outstanding warrants. He was also found in possession of a stolen firearm and methamphetamine.
