UPDATE: Murder suspect and ‘female acquaintance’ arrested

UPDATE: 6:15 P.M.

The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the arrest of Jeremy White on an outstanding local warrant for murder. Bonneville County detectives also were able to obtain a warrant for Deena Aday for the charge of accessory to a felony and she was also booked into the Nye County Nevada Jail, according to a news release.

Sheriff’s Office detectives are still in the process of collecting information and working with law enforcement in Nevada on this case. No further details are available at this time.

The following update was released by the Nye County Sheriff’s Office in Nevada

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office was notified by investigators in Idaho Falls that White was possibly visiting family members in Pahrump and was wanted for murder in Idaho.

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office subsequently began assisting Idaho authorities in attempting to locate White.

On Friday, Nye County detectives observed White’s vehicle leaving a residence in Pahrump. In a coordinated effort between Detectives and Patrol Deputies a felony traffic stop was conducted on White’s vehicle in the area of Mt. Charleston and Red Butte.

White was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Nye County Detention Center on the above listed warrant.

There was a female passenger in the vehicle who was questioned and subsequently released. Investigators are coordinating with Idaho Falls authorities to complete the investigation.

White was booked into the Nye County Detention Center and is expected to be extradited to Idaho related to the charges of second-degree murder there.

IDAHO FALLS — A man wanted for the murder of a Bonneville County woman has been apprehended, according to Nevada State Police.

Jeremy White, 39, was arrested and taken into custody by Nye County Sheriff Office deputies, authorities tell EastIdahoNews.com.

White is wanted for second-degree murder and officials believe he left Idaho Falls Nov. 9 after killing his longtime girlfriend, Kristin Caldwell.

It’s unclear if White was with Deena Aday when he was arrested. Investigators say Aday and White left the Idaho Falls area together.
