  Published at  | Updated at

Dr. Clark Gilbert will soon leave his post as president of Brigham Young University-Idaho to launch a new worldwide online learning program called BYU-Pathway Worldwide.

Gilbert and his wife, Christine, moved to Rexburg in 2015 with their eight children so he could serve as the 16th president of BYU-Idaho.

In this week’s episode of East Idaho Newsmakers, the Gilberts sit down with Nate Eaton in their first joint interview since Clark’s new assignment was announced.

They speak about higher education, their time living in east Idaho, how they balance life with eight kids and what they hope their legacy will be.
