IDAHO FALLS — A 60-year-old man was arrested after federal agents searched his home Wednesday morning and discovered child pornography.

Bonneville County prosecutors say Stanley G. Gallegos, of Idaho Falls, has been charged with one felony count of sexual exploitation of a child.

Gallegos, who according to court records has no criminal history in Idaho, was booked in the Bonneville County Jail hours after federal agents with the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit, along with Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies, served a multi-agency search warrant on his home.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security investigators along with agents from the US Postal Inspectors were also part of the search.

Several items — including computers — were seen taken from Gallegos’ home and placed in mobile command truck.

Gallegos is held on no bond until he makes his first court appearance.

If found guilty, Gallegos faces up to 30-years in prison.
