Idaho teen accepted to EVERY Ivy League school

BOISE (KBOI) — Everyone knows when it comes to college, there’s nothing more prestigious than the Ivy League. More than 90 percent of applicants get turned away each year.

But sometimes you can beat the odds.

And a good person who can beat those odds is Ivan Vazquez, a resident genius of Idaho. Currently a senior at Capital High School in Boise, he’ll soon be an Ivy League man. The only question is what colors he’ll be wearing because Ivan got accepted into all eight Ivy League schools, which include Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton and Yale.

“The first couple are like an intense euphoria like a surprise, then the rest are like ‘this doesn’t make sense, like how is this happening right now,?’ no one gets all of them,” Vazquez said.

It may seem impossible, even to Ivan. But he’s got the letters to prove that every school wants him walking their halls.
So which school will he choose?

“I’ve yet to full decide on one,” he says. “I’m still soaking in the fact that I have the opportunity to choose any, but we’ll see.”

While he doesn’t know where he’s going, Ivan does know what he wants to study.

“The stock market really interests me a lot just analyzing different factors,” he said. “Just some time of finance thing, maybe get to wear a suit everyday, that would be pretty cool.”

While Ivan was accepted to all the Ivy League schools, Stanford only offered him a wait list spot.
